The Burned Forest in Hawezar is an area I had the pleasure of working on for Diablo IV. I was responsible for the level art layout, as well as some of the area blockout and flow. We also were given some time near the end to come up with more of a 'flavor pass', which is where a lot of the skulls and large corpses came in. It was great to have that sort of creative freedom to try new things out. There are so many amazing artists who work on a space, but I wanted to give a huge shout out to all of the asset artists, interactive artists, lighting artists, VFX artists and so many more who work to bring these spaces to life as a team.
