This is some of my work on the newly released Hivebusters DLC for Gears 5. I mainly worked on the level we called "Path", which was the final (and longest) level of the DLC. It was a great experience getting to take Gears of War to such a different location to what is classically seen. Path was definitely a challenge due to the size, but it was probably my favorite content I've worked on for Gears of War to date.
While these levels have an army of talented people of working on them to get all aspects across the finish line, I wanted to give a shout out to two artists I worked with closely on a daily basis throughout the level.
Forrest Mead - Level Artist: Forrest and I split the level in to different sections and tackled our areas. We would collaborate daily on our work, which was great. Awesome working with you!

Daniel Callejas - Lighter: Daniel was our lighter for Path. Lighting is probably the most key discipline level artists need to work with to get everything looking amazing. Level art can have the best storytelling in the world, but without proper lighting, it falls apart. Thanks for the great work Daniel!
